About the NC Hospitality Workers Relief Fund
The NC Hospitality Workers Relief Fund was established in 2020 to support employees of NC restaurants and hotels that are facing financial hardship. The fund is managed through the NCRLA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that has provided over $1.5 million in financial assistance to NC hospitality employees.
Currently, the fund is accepting donations to provide financial assistance in the form of grants to restaurant and hotel employees. 100% of funds received into the fund and given for this purpose goes directly to support NC hospitality workers impacted by the storm.
Applications will be evaluated based on demonstrated financial need, employment in the industry, and individual circumstances. All applications will be verified with the applicant’s current or former employer.
