NC ProStart Educator Fall Workshop

ProStart Educators are very fortunate to receive top notch professional development several times a year. This September, North Carolina ProStart teachers will experience hands-on culinary instruction at the fall workshop. All North Carolina ProStart educators, as well as culinary and food teachers, are strongly encouraged to attend.

Hosted by the culinary and hospitality departments of Carteret Community College in Morehead City, educators will receive training from culinary instructors and work alongside their peers to enhance their skills.The training will include sessions on Friday and Saturday pertinent to the ProStart curriculum. There will also be sessions on classroom best practices and implementing successful work-based learning experiences for students.

Friday night, educators will be treated to dinner and networking at Floyd’s 1921 Restaurant in Morehead City.
