The 2025 Manteo to Murphy PAC Fundraiser brought together nearly 400 members of North Carolina’s hospitality community for an unforgettable evening at The Pavilion at the Angus Barn.

Hosted by Van Eure and Steve Thanhauser of the Angus Barn and Lance Trenary of Golden Corral, the event raised more than $220,000 to support the NCRLA PAC, NCRLA Advocacy Fund, and the National Restaurant Association’s Restaurant PAC—ensuring hospitality’s voice remains strong at the local, state, and national levels.

Guests enjoyed chef-crafted small bites, craft cocktails from North Carolina distillers, and spirited live and silent auctions featuring exclusive travel packages, wine dinners, culinary experiences, and more.

NCRLA extends its deepest gratitude to our sponsors, attendees, and auction participants for making this year’s event a success. Together, we’re building a stronger future for North Carolina’s hospitality industry.

Special thanks to our sponsors!

Under North Carolina law, we are required to report the name, mailing address, employer and job title of anyone who contributes more than $50 to the NCRLA Political Action Committee (NCRLA PAC) in any election cycle. Contributions cannot exceed $6,800 per election cycle. The law requires that contributions to the NCRLA PAC be made by individuals, not corporations.

Contributions to Restaurant PAC are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions to Restaurant PAC are for political purposes. All contributions to Restaurant PAC are voluntary. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal. The proposed contribution amounts are merely suggestions; you may choose to contribute more or less or not at all. Contributions cannot exceed $5,000 per election cycle. The NRA will not favor or disadvantage anyone by reason of the amount contributed or the decision not to contribute. Federal law requires political committees to report the name, address, occupation, and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in a calendar year. Federal law prohibits corporate contributions.**
