NCRLA Campaign, Serving Careers

Our hotels and restaurants need smart problem-solvers, innovative thinkers, and hard workers who are ready to serve others. The Serving Careers initiative showcases stars within our industry who illustrate that anything is possible. Their authentic stories reflect the realities of working in the industry—all the benefits and opportunities it can offer, as well as some of their past challenges. This new generation of hospitality leaders is redefining the playbook on how to achieve success, and they’re creating environments that truly welcome all.

Serving Careers is a comprehensive omnichannel marketing campaign funded by a $5 million grant from the state’s portion of the American Rescue Plan that leaves no stone unturned. As of October 2023, Serving Careers is being promoted on all channels, from social media, Google search, streaming TV, and radio to in-person events, transit systems, and billboards across North Carolina. Our stories of passion, drive, and accumulated wealth of experiences are shared through each of these platforms to inspire job seekers to join the thousands of hospitality workers with successful careers and fulfilling lives.
