DESCRIPTION:North Carolina’s hospitality community will come together on October 19 for the annual Manteo to Murphy PAC Fundraiser—an evening dedicated to strengthening our industry’s political voice. Hosted by Van Eure\, Steve Thanhauser\, and Lance Trenary\, this signature event benefits the NC Restaurant & Lodging Association PAC\, the NCRLA Advocacy Fund\, and the National Restaurant Association’s Restaurant PAC. \nGuests will join top industry leaders\, owners\, and operators as they enjoy chef-crafted small bites\, craft cocktails from NC distillers\, and spirited live and silent auctions featuring one-of-a-kind travel packages\, wine dinners\, and culinary experiences. Contributions cannot exceed $6\,800 per election cycle. The law requires that contributions to the NCRLA PAC be made by individuals\, not corporations. \nContributions to Restaurant PAC are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions to Restaurant PAC are for political purposes. All contributions to Restaurant PAC are voluntary. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal. The proposed contribution amounts are merely suggestions; you may choose to contribute more or less or not at all. Contributions cannot exceed $5\,000 per election cycle. The NRA will not favor or disadvantage anyone by reason of the amount contributed or the decision not to contribute. Federal law requires political committees to report the name\, address\, occupation\, and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in a calendar year.
