SUMMARY:Manteo to Murphy - PAC Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Nearly 400 NCRLA members and sponsors attended the annual event at the Pavilion at the Angus Barn on Monday night\, supporting the NCRLA PAC\, the NCRLA Advocacy Fund\, and the National Restaurant Association PAC\, which raised over $240\,000. \nHosted by Van Eure and Steve Thanhauser of the Angus Barn and Lance Trenary of Golden Corral\, the evening featured appetizers and drinks prepared by top North Carolina chefs. Aaron Frazier\, Vice President of Public Policy for the National Restaurant Association\, was among the attendees. North Carolina continues to lead the nation in advocacy fundraising for the restaurant industry. \nWe extend our gratitude to all sponsors\, attendees\, and auction winners whose contributions made the event a success. Contributions cannot exceed $6\,400 per election cycle. The law requires that contributions to the NCRLA PAC be made by individuals\, not corporations. \nContributions to Restaurant PAC are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions to Restaurant PAC are for political purposes. All contributions to Restaurant PAC are voluntary. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal. The proposed contribution amounts are merely suggestions; you may choose to contribute more or less or not at all. Contributions cannot exceed $5\,000 per election cycle. The NRA will not favor or disadvantage anyone by reason of the amount contributed or the decision not to contribute. Federal law requires political committees to report the name\, address\, occupation\, and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in a calendar year.
